01What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. They help websites remember your session, keep you signed in, protect forms against abuse and understand how pages are used. This policy explains which cookies QR-10 uses and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
02Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website and app to work and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| qr_10_session | Keeps you signed in and maintains your session | Session / up to 2 hours of inactivity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session / up to 2 hours |
| remember_web_* | Keeps you signed in if you tick “Remember me” | Up to 400 days |
Live chat
Our support chat is provided by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, France). It stores a cookie so your conversation continues as you move between pages and when you come back. If you are signed in, the chat knows your name, email address and plan so we can help you faster. Signing out clears the chat session in your browser.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| crisp-client/session/<ID> | Crisp | Keeps your support conversation | Up to 6 months |
Analytics (optional)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and web app so we can improve them. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before these cookies are set; everyone can decline them in the cookie banner or later via “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Google Analytics is never loaded on the landing pages or redirects that people see when they scan a QR code. Google may process this data in the United States.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years | |
| _ga_<ID> | Maintains session state for analytics | 2 years |
Advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data for targeted advertising.
03Cookies and QR code scans
When someone scans a QR-10 code, our redirect service records technical scan information (described in our Privacy Policy) to produce analytics for the code’s owner. The destination website the scanner is sent to is operated by a third party and may set its own cookies under its own policies.
04Managing your preferences
- You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
05Changes and contact
We will update this policy if we change the cookies we use. Questions? Email contact@qr-10.com.
