How to make a Telegram QR code
- 1
Get your link
Use a public @username, or in Telegram open the channel or group info and copy its link or invite link.
- 2
Paste it above
Usernames become t.me links automatically; invite links are kept exactly as they are.
- 3
Test it
Scan with a phone that isn’t already a member to check it opens the join screen.

What a Telegram code can open
Any public Telegram username: a channel, a group, a bot or your personal account. Scanning opens it in Telegram, where people can join, start the bot or send you a message.
Private groups and channels work too: paste the invite link (t.me/+…). Be aware that anyone who scans the code, or sees a photo of it, can use the invite. If you reset the invite link in Telegram, a static code stops working.
Telegram’s QR code or this one?
Telegram can show a QR code for a username inside the app. This generator gives you a standard code in your own colors, as a high-resolution PNG or a vector SVG for print, and works for invite links and bots too.

Best practices
Tips for Telegram QR codes
Prefer a public username
Invite links can be reset or revoked; a username keeps working.
Say what they’ll get
“Join for daily deals” or “Class 10 notes group” gets more scans.
Protect private groups
Use join requests in Telegram if you don’t want everyone who scans to get in.
Use a dynamic code for invites
If you reset the invite, update the code instead of reprinting.
Static or dynamic?
A dynamic code survives a new invite link
Invite links get reset, groups get replaced and channels change names. With a static code, every printed poster breaks. A dynamic code lets you change the link in seconds and shows how many people scanned each placement.

Yes. Paste the group’s invite link (t.me/+…). Anyone with the code can then request to join or join directly, depending on the group’s settings.
Usually the invite link was reset or the username changed. A static code can’t be updated; a dynamic QR-10 code can.
Yes. Enter the bot’s username (for example @yourshop_bot); scanning opens the bot with a Start button.
