Free plan · 3 dynamic codes · Never expire
Dynamic QR code generator
Print once, change it forever. A dynamic QR code points to a short link you control, so you can change where it goes after it’s printed, pause it, and see every scan.
No card needed. Free codes keep working for as long as you want them.
How it works
How to create a dynamic QR code
- 1
Create a free account
Sign up with email or Google. The Free plan includes 3 dynamic codes, every feature and full scan analytics.
- 2
Choose what it opens
A website, a PDF, a menu, a contact card, a link-in-bio page, an event, a coupon, an app download and more. Add your logo and colors.
- 3
Print it, then edit anytime
Download PNG or SVG. When the link, menu or offer changes, edit it in the dashboard: every printed copy follows.
What you get
Everything a printed code needs to stay useful
Change the destination
Point the code at a new page, file or offer in seconds, without reprinting.
Scan analytics
Scans and unique scans over time, devices, operating systems, languages and the hours people scan.
Pause and resume
Turn a code off when a promotion ends and back on when it returns.
Hosted pages
Menus, PDFs, contact cards, link-in-bio pages, events, coupons and business pages, built for phones.
Right store for every phone
App download codes open the App Store on iPhones and Google Play on Android.
Your brand
Logo, colors, gradients and shapes, with a check that the code still scans.
Folders
Group codes by campaign, client or location.
Short links
Every code has a short link (qr-10.com/r/…) you can also share in messages and emails.
Codes that don’t expire
Free codes never stop working, and paid codes keep working if you stop paying.
How a dynamic QR code works
A static QR code stores your link inside its pattern, so the link can never change. A dynamic QR code stores a short link instead, such as qr-10.com/r/aB3dE7k. When someone scans it, QR-10 counts the scan and instantly forwards them to the destination you set.
Because the destination lives in your dashboard, not in the printed pattern, you can change it at any time. The code on your menu, poster or packaging stays exactly the same.
Why dynamic codes are smaller and easier to scan
Long web addresses with tracking parameters produce dense codes with many small squares, which need more print space and fail more often on older phones. A dynamic code only stores a short link, so it stays simple however long the real destination is. Our QR code size guide shows the difference side by side.
When you should use a dynamic code
Use one for anything printed in quantity or kept for a long time: menus, packaging, signs, business cards, brochures and posters. If the page moves, the price changes or the campaign ends, you update it instead of reprinting. Use one too whenever you want to know whether a placement works, since only dynamic codes can count scans.
A static code is still the right choice for Wi-Fi, which phones join directly from the code, and for one-off codes you will never need to change. QR-10’s free generator makes those with no sign-up.
Do dynamic QR codes expire?
Many providers deactivate dynamic codes when a free trial ends, and printed codes suddenly open a sign-up page. QR-10 has no trial: the Free plan has no end date, and your 3 free dynamic codes keep working for as long as you want them. If you upgrade to Pro and later cancel, every code you made keeps working; you just can’t add more than 3 dynamic codes.

FAQ
Dynamic QR code questions
A QR code that stores a short link instead of the final destination. Scans pass through the short link, so you can change where the code goes after printing and count every scan.
Yes. The Free plan includes 3 dynamic codes with every feature and unlimited scans, with no end date. Pro adds unlimited dynamic codes for $5/month or $50/year.
Only if it is dynamic. Open the code in your QR-10 dashboard, change the destination and save: the printed code opens the new destination straight away.
Not on QR-10. Free codes don’t expire, and codes made on Pro keep working if you cancel. A code only stops if you pause or delete it, or if it breaks our acceptable-use rules.
No. A static code’s destination is fixed in its pattern. Create a dynamic code and replace the printed static code with it.
No. Scans are unlimited on every QR-10 plan, and we never charge per scan.
